 What To Expect At CBC

Your First Day At Community Bible Church

1-What should I wear?
You will find most people at our congregation dressed very casually. We truly believe in the come as you are approach. So, at any Sunday morning service you will find the full range; from formal to informal.

2-How will I be greeted?
As you enter, we hope you will be greeted by our ushers who will hand you a bulletin and help direct you in any way we can to help. Feel comfortable to come on in and check us out without worry of being put on the spot in any way. We want you to enjoy your time with us.

3-What will worship be like?
The Bible and our time of teaching are at the center of our worship times. Our worship services reflect everything we have just described. It is a time to come together as a church family, praise, thank and learn about our God in meaningful and personal ways. We have a blended style of music with most Sundays being led by a worship band that seeks to lead the congregation in both contemporary and traditional songs with guitars, drums and keyboard. Doughnuts, snacks and coffee/ beverages are available in the foyer and yes, can be brought into the sanctuary. Services are about an hour long. We take an offering up each Sunday in support of our ministry. Occasionally, we have communion and if you happen to come on one of those weeks feel free to participate with us, our communion table is open to all who wish to receive.

4-What kind of Bible should I use?
We do not require one translation style at our church. We believe that the best translation is the one you use, read, study and put into practice. Our pastor uses the ESV in services.

5-What about kids?
Kids of all ages are welcome in our worship services. We encourage and appreciate having them with us. We do provide for any parents/ children interested, a jr. church program during both 9:00 and 10:45 services. Nursery program for those up to age 3, as well.
